Hello. We are trying to rehome our dog, Maverick. He’s a 3 year old blue heeler mix, about 60 lbs. He loves playing with his herding ball, going on bike rides, and being with people. He’s trained to stay off of furniture but would happily jump on the couch or your bed if welcome to. He’s honestly a really great dog and is well behaved but needs to be watched around small children who are too young to understand how to treat a dog so he would do best in a home without small children. Does well with most other dogs (as long as they’re not too dominant or aggressive) once he can warm up to them. He needs a home that can give him the time and attention that he deserves and will make a great camping/hiking companion. He definitely needs to be with an active family as he thrives off of being active but he is very calm and can lay around if need be.
