Description
I've had Morticia and Wednesday for a little over a year now and I find when I'm struggling, I'm also struggling to take care of them. They stay fed but cleaning their cage and spending time with them is a struggle and I feel like a horrible pet mom.
I'm including everything I have for them with the exception of their current cage. One of them got clever and chewed their way out the bottom tray once so it's been blocked off ever since. I have plenty of food, wood chips, and toys for them though, including 2 large balls (they're not fans of those but probably because their cage was a rat mansion). I don't have a carrier for them since they outgrew the one they came in.
I'd like to keep them together if possible. Rats live shorter lives in solitary and they've been together since they were young. I want them to have good long lives.
They're roughly a year and a couple months old. The brown one is Morticia. Wednesday is the black Dumbo rat. They're adorable and very clever.
