Successful family owned and operated company serving the Peninsula and South Bay for over 25 years is seeking a qualified Striping Foreman. The Striping Foreman directs and supervises employees and equipment on the job-site to successfully complete all striping and signage so that it meets quality standards and is done in a timely manner. Candidates must possess 2-3 years full time experience in commercial striping and 1-2 years full time experience leading and managing successful work teams. All candidates must have proven ability to read blueprints and sketches, and possess demonstrated knowledge of basic signage code compliance. Further, candidates must possess excellent listening skills, leadership skills, and detail orientation, be self-motivated, possess complex problem solving skills, be safety-oriented and know how to keep project/work-team motivated, on time and on task. All candidates must have the ability to communicate clearly in English--both written and verbal. Conversational Spanish skills are a plus! Candidates must possess a valid California Driver's License and have a clean DMV record. Candidates must be able to lift up to 80 lbs from ground to waist and carry for distances up to 40 feet as well as push/pull a striping machine (on wheels) weighing approximately 200 lbs.
