Annual BBQ Event to raise funds for Hunt County Shared Ministries. This year it's a drive-thru, serving in Commerce at First Baptist Church. On Friday, May 7th, come enjoy delicious Johnson Street BBQ to help to support families in need throughout our community at the annual Hunt County Shared Ministries BBQ. You'll enjoy 2 meats, sides and dessert for only $15! One big change this year – it’s going to be a drive-thru to pick up meals instead of inside seating. They are serving lunch from 11:00 - 1:00 at First Baptist Church, 1401 Washington St, in Commerce. In Greenville, they are serving lunch from 11:00-1:00 and dinner from 5:30-7:00 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 6801 Wesley St. (enter the parking lot from Stonewall St.). Please see separate event to purchase tickets if you plan to go to Greenville. You can also purchase a "Feed Our Friends" Ticket which is the cost of another meal, but these tickets are not figured into our food count, so every dollar goes directly to serve those most in need in the Hunt County area.
