The Service Advisor will act as a liaison between the customer and the Technician working on their coach, scheduling and coordinating service work, developing cost estimates, tracking repairs, committing to meeting deadlines according to TGORV guidelines. This position requires an individual who will be a gateway to accurate and reliable information being presented to both the customer and the Service Department in a prompt, efficient manner. As a part of our pre-employment process, applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.Key Responsibilities:This position reports to the Service ManagerGreeting and advising customers on a maintenance plan for their RV.Obtain all necessary information from the customer to establish a relationshipCommunicating with customers by quickly responding to inquiries.Create a work order by identifying current vehicle condition, estimated repair time, getting quotes/estimates from the shop if necessary, supply any supporting documentation and obtain work authorization.Supports Warranty Administrators on the status of Warranty claims.Keeping up with the progress of work orders & update customers accordingly. Following company procedure and dealer processes to ensure completed, accurate work orders in a timely manner.Convey customer needs and translate to work orders in order to build rapportCreate, invoice, review, and collect payment on finished work orders.Other Duties as assignedJob Requirements:Knowledge of the RV Service industry is required“Can-do” mentality with a strong sense of teamwork and accountabilityStrong oral and written communication skillsSales background is preferredMust have the ability to be friendly and enthusiastic in a professional manner, ensuring rapport with each customer who might be frustrated about their current situation.Must have strong organizational skillsBasic Computer Literacy skills (IDS knowledge is a plus) Please apply online with The Great Outdoors RV at:
