Songwriter Looking for singer/musicians for R&B Project

Hey all, I'm looking for musicians, especially a singer, who would be interested in contributing to a jazz-influenced R&B/Soul/neo-soul project. About me: I'm a 26 year old guy who enjoys writing/producing music. I'm a drummer by trade (college-trained in performance and music theory from a jazz program) and play piano and guitar as well (but let's just say I would not like to play a gig on guitar). I've been a part of jazz and indie groups (and have written music for them) but want to try my hand at songwriting for the types of music I love the most. Some of the biggest musical influences on my songwriting are artists like Jordan Rakei, D'Angelo, Hiatus Kaiyote, Jacob Collier, and Moonchild. I often come up with melodies but no lyrics (I definitely cannot sing) and am really open to other talented folks making their mark on my songs, whether it's lyrics and singing, instruments, or mixing! What I'm looking for: Singers and guitarists/bassists and people who like to mix/master who have similar tastes in music that want to collaborate. Since it's still COVID times I'm thinking we could work *together apart* by sending files and working in a Logic project together. It would be really cool to release the music if we are up for it, and see where it takes us. I know music education is by no means the only parameter but I'm definitely looking for folks who have passion, an ear for the same types of music, good playing experience, and general musical fluency. Also PS I would be super down to work on indie/dream-pop music as well. Stuff ranging from Still Woozy to Whitney to Twain. If any of this interests you, please reach out and we can share our stuff!
