BEVERLY, MA — Beverly residents will have another option to receive a coronavirus vaccination locally starting this weekend when the CVS on Rantoul Street becomes a vaccine distributor. Beverly Mayor Mike Cahill said the CVS will begin filling appointments for Sunday as soon as Friday. "Hopefully, our Rantoul Street CVS will receive doses every week going forward and can be a real resource for our community and our neighboring communities," Cahill said. "So, if you are currently eligible and ned an appointment, you can try to get yours at our local CVS." The CVS locations are part of the federal vaccination program — which operates outside of the supply to the state mass vaccination sites, district collaboratives, local Boards of Health and health care providers. The Beverly site was listed as "fully booked" on the CVS vaccination website as of Friday morning. CVS locations in Danvers, Marlbehead, Peabody and Salem are also among the Massachusetts vaccination locations. Did you find this article useful? Invite a friend to subscribe to Patch.
