From The JAX Chamber: March 25, 2021 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – American Electrical Contracting announces it has purchased an existing commercial/industrial warehouse and office space at 9016 Philips Highway which will become the company's new corporate headquarters and consolidated facility. American Electrical Contracting is one of Jacksonville's largest electrical contractors and has grown exponentially since its founding 21 years ago. The deal closed Friday, March 12 at $3.4 million and was brokered by Jeffrey Evans at Greene Commercial Real Estate Group. The headquarters property includes a total of 20,500 square feet in three buildings on 3.4 acres with office space, warehouse, crew fitness center and locker rooms, and parking/controlled storage. The facility is double the size of the company's current location on Old St. Augustine Road. The seller of the building is the owner of MatrixOneSource, which will move from the location to its new space before July when American Electrical will officially relocate. "The new headquarters allows us to continue to grow and provides greater flexibility and space for office staff and its crews," said David Yencarelli, COO of American Electrical Contracting. "This facility also provides more visibility in a prominent light industrial location and solidifies our commitment to Northeast Florida." American Electrical Contracting has 152 employees and the largest number of master electricians on its staff than any other electrical contractor in Northeast Florida. The company is based in Jacksonville and is privately held and performs work for all levels of projects from single family homes to large-scale new construction commercial and industrial projects.
