STAMFORD, CT — A city resident is $30,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket this week in Stamford, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On Thursday, Alex Encarnacion Lara won $30,000 playing a "30X Cash 7th Edition" game. The winning ticket was purchased from Broad Street Shell in Stamford.
