Norwalk's Word Alive Church Hosts Easter Egg Hunt April 3

Press release from Word Alive Church: March 26, 2021 Word Alive Bible Church of Norwalk is hosting a free community-wide Easter Egg Hunt at the American Legion located at 60 County Street, Norwalk, Connecticut on Saturday, April 3, 2021, beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m. This year's event has been adjusted to follow COVID-19 guidelines, ensuring everyone's safety. "We are looking forward to this fun and fast-paced gathering for the children and families of Norwalk," Reverend Artie Kassimis said. "We have 5,000 eggs and the Easter Bunny and the Easter Chicken will be on hand to greet the children." This is the third time the church will be holding its much-loved event. As in years past, Mayor Harry Rilling will kick off the event promptly at 10:00 am. In addition to the egg hunt, there will be a puppet story time with "Grannie Grace" who will share an uplifting Easter story with the children. Christian radio station, K-LOVE, will also be onsite providing music and giveaways to attendees. To accommodate social distancing, there will be three intervals of egg hunts by age group. The public is encouraged to arrive promptly for their interval to afford everyone the opportunity to collect their eggs. · 0-2 year olds - 10:00 A.M. · 3-6 year olds - 10:30 A.M. · 7-10 year olds - 11:00 A.M. Parking lot attendants will be on hand to direct traffic to the appropriate parking areas to ensure a smooth transition among all age groups.
