DMBA To Host 'Easter Eggstravaganza'

Press release from DMBA: March 26, 2021 The Downtown Milford Business Association has announced a brand new springtime event for the Milford community. The Easter Eggstravaganza, sponsored by E'LAN by Dominique Renee, takes place on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Wasson Field, and offers families a new way to celebrate the season in a fun, and safe, socially-distant way. The Easter Eggstravaganza includes a socially-distant professional photograph with the Easter Bunny taken by A.G. Productions, an 8x10 print courtesy of Milford Photo, a goody bag filled with Easter-themed treats, hair braiding by E'LAN by Dominique Renee, and a free Easter Egg Trail through participating downtown businesses. Pre-registration and tickets are required for the photograph, goody bags, and activities at Wasson Field, but there is no registration required to participate in the Egg Trail. "We are so thrilled to be able to bring some community joy back to Downtown," said DMBA President Tracy Bonosconi. "Our new Events Director, Makayla Silva, is full of great ideas for the upcoming season and the Easter Eggstravaganza is just the beginning. Our goal is to help families get out of the house, enjoy Milford and highlight the many wonderful small businesses that make up our community." The activities requiring pre-registration begin at 9 am and end at 3 pm, and the Egg Trail through Downtown begins at 11 am and ends at 3 pm. Participating Egg Trail stops include Arciuolo's, The Body Waxing Studio, Cafe Atlantique, Hawkwood Game Cafe, Inside Living Style, The Lovet Shop, Makeup Makeup, Milford Pharmacy, Scratch Baking, SV Decker, Sophie Claire's, and Whispers. The Easter Eggstravaganza is a COVID-careful event; masks are required and social distancing rules apply.
