Colorado has seen a decline in coronavirus case numbers since mid-January, and the daily case numbers have remained steady over the past few weeks, public health officials said. Between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon, 958 new cases of the coronavirus were reported in Colorado. As of Thursday, 454,893 cases of the coronavirus have been reported in the state among more than 2,690,000 people who have been tested since the outbreak began, health officials confirmed. Around 25,225 people have been hospitalized. Around 8 percent of Colorado hospitals reported anticipating staff shortages over the next week, and 2 percent of facilities reported anticipating ICU bed shortages.
