Police, Fire Assist Man, Woman Lost In The Woods Of West Concord

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams spent about 90 minutes on Wednesday searching for two people lost in the woods near Rossview Farm on District 5 Road. Police were sent to the area around 7 p.m. for a report of a man and a woman lost in the woods. They searched the area for a short time when Concord fire and rescue teams received a call about a man with a medical issue near Villanova Drive. Firefighters and EMTs set up on the drive but later, moved to District 5 Road after a cellphone was pinged and the two people were found to be closer to the farm. More firefighters, including the UTV unit, began searching the area while capital region fire dispatch requested the Loudon off-road unit to come to the area, too, to help with the search. Later, Loudon firefighters were called off. The pair were found around 8:30 p.m. and assisted out of the woods, unharmed. Got a news tip? Send it to [email protected].
