Description
PHILADELPHIA — The Archdiocese of Philadelphia and Giant Pharmacy are taming up to offering a coronavirus vaccination clinic in Northeast Philadelphia next week.
The clinic will open at 9 a.m. at Saint Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave., on Tuesday for older adults who benefit from programs and services operated by Catholic Housing and Community Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Tuesday's clinic is not open to the public.
Older adults or loved ones throughout the five-county area who have questions or are in need of assistance with the vaccination registration process are encouraged to call CHCS' Senior Help Line at 1-888-679-7669.
CHCS aims to provide nearly 100 COVID-19 vaccines to seniors in the community.
This is the fourth vaccination clinic organized in recent weeks by CHCS in an effort to address vaccine hesitancy and barriers faced by older adults, especially those in underserved areas.
CHCS has provided 300 vaccines to date.
