KANE COUNTY, IL — Carpentersville Police Chief Michael Kilbourne was named Wednesday as Kane County's next treasurer, filling the vacancy left by the resignation of former Treasurer David Rickert. He is set to start April 5 and hold the post until Nov. 30, 2022, the end of Rickert's four-year term.
