Press release from Livermore Public Library: March 26, 2021 The Livermore Public Library's Civic Center location, 1188 S. Livermore Avenue, Livermore, CA 94550, is now open for in-person visits by appointment and walk-in. Current hours are Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. For the health and safety of library patrons, capacity will be limited and only select services will be available during onsite visits. Each appointment window will be for a 55-minute time period, which will allow entry into the building for browsing, holds pickup, checkout, printing and brief computer use. To visit Civic Center Library in person, community members should visit the library's website, www.livermorelibrary.net, or call 925-373-5505 Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for more information. Library services are being adjusted as the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve in our community. Visit the Library's webpage "Visiting During COVID-19" to find the most up to date information on hours and learn which services are currently available. Another option available during in-person hours includes pickup of reserved books and other items. If patrons do not wish to enter the library, or occupancy limits have been reached, a staff member will be available to enter the library on a visitor's behalf to check out books and bring them out. No appointment is needed to make use of this service, however it may require waiting until patrons queuing to enter the library have done so. The Library's Curbside Pickup Service is available six days a week. A curbside appointment can be scheduled to pick up reserved items Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Library staff appreciate the support received by the Livermore community over the past year and look forward to continuing to expand library services in a safe manner.
