Frankfort Park District Holds Kite-Flying Event

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Park District will the 15th annual Family Fun Fly kite-flying event on April 1. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to noon at Fort Frankfort at Commissioners Park, 22108 S. 80th Ave. The event is free for all ages. Participants can bring their own kite or borrow one from the park district. According to the park district, the event is part of "Flying for Kids month," a statewide kite fly which promotes park districts and the park district youth license plate. The event has a rain date of April 24.
