do you want to play in a mediocre bedroom pop band?

hiya, I just moved to southern NH from the Bay Area. i played in bands in oakland for a long time and with the faint hope of a world returning to shows and community again, I wanna start another fun project! PLEASE NOTE: I *do not* care about being good or cool. it's all about having fun. I play drums and guitar and sing, all of these on a pretty mediocre level tbh. (my best instrument is the drums). I would be happy to do any of those things (although ideally someone better/more confident than me would sing!) shredding is cool I guess but the best bands i've seen don't have any element of virtuosity, if you know what I mean. an ~optimal~ vibe is like...moscow apartment, phoebe bridges, pedro the lion, early wilco...catchy and somewhat subdued pop songs that aren't cheesy or bloated. I've written some simple bedroom pop songs in that vein so we can play those (they need to be workshopped though!) or any other damn thing. i'm not that interested in playing covers except for practice/warm-up. because I'm a woman, it would be amazing to find other women to play with. I have no bias towards dudes of course but I simply cannot deal with any vibe that is remotely weird/creepy (trust me it happens more than you think).
