Driver for Roofing Company Hours 40 hours per week. Monday - Saturday 6:30am to 3pm (30 minute lunch break) Wage $15 to $18 per hour (DOE) Overtime Potential Duties/Responsibilities Pickup and delivery of roofing materials to construction sites located across southern California. Loading and unloading of roofing materials from residential and commercial roofs. Jobsite Clean Up Maintain the organization of roofing materials. Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and yard. Maintain fleet of construction equipment and vehicles. Inventory Control of materials issued to and returning from construction sites. Inventory Control of tools and equipment issued to and returning from construction sites. Forklift Operation Record-keeping/Documentation Assist Superintendents and Foremen Required Skills Forklift Operation (Company provides Forklift Certification) Valid California Driver's License (CDL not required) Ability to lift 50 lbs continuously throughout an 8 hour workday Ability to perform light vehicle maintenance Ability to identify the differences between similar materials Ability to keep logs, records of transactions and fill out required paperwork Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide General understanding of the use of basic tools and equipment
