Special Needs Leopard Geckos

Description

Hello. I currently have two special needs Leopard Geckos that need loving homes. The first Gecko is female named Esmeralda. She has neurological issues from an incubator temperature spike that took place during the heat of the summer. Being incubated at 82 and having the temperature rise to 95 is fatal in most cases...but she survived. She has cognitive issues and can spook easily. Her front legs tend to bend and she twists her body much like a gecko with Enigma syndrome. When she panics she will twist in circles and might death roll. Her tail is also short and stubby. She has done absolutely fantastic eating from her escape proof dish, taking calcium and vitamins. And drinking water. She is typically calm when left alone and sometimes tolerates handling...but it stresses her out. She is definitely a special case and will need a loving home that is understanding of her privacy and limits. Otherwise she is sweet and totally adorable! The second specials need is a Male Leopard Gecko currently named Charlie. I'd love to find his own loving home. He was one of the lucky few males that survived a heatwave back during the summer that proved lethal to most eggs in my male incubator. He was born with features such as a shorter face, at times a silly walk, slightly smaller eyes and a tail with a small tip kink. After hearing opinions from different breeders we decided and to put it short that he has a form of down syndrome. He has been an amazing little fellow eating and while he can sometimes get spooked, he is very sweet. He likes to be handled as well. He currently eats a varied diet of dubia roaches and gut loaded meal worms in an escape proof dish while also being a champ with his calcium and vitamin intake. There is a small adoption fee for each gecko and I will need pictures of the set up for each gecko. These geckos if taken home together must have separate enclosures. Please email via the Craigslist contact info for more information and pictures. Both geckos are Tangerines and Orange in color.
