The Sound Stage Plaza sponsored by Florida Power & Light is on the corner of SW 8th Street and SW 1st Avenue. This event is free to the public, but registration is required. So RSVP using the button below now! PAWS (Promoting Animal Welfare Saturdays) is a programming series for pet lovers in partnership with Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department, Friends of Miami Animals Foundation (FoMA), and Friends of The Underline (FUL). Events will take place every 1st Saturday of the month. Our inaugural PAWS event will feature the opportunity to adopt a pet. Adorable, adoptable shelter pets will be the stars of the event in hopes of getting a forever home. And in commemoration of International Pooper Scooper Week (April 1-7), we will also remind and encourage pet owners that picking up after your pets is not only the responsible and courteous thing to do, but it’s also the law. Adopters will receive goody bags with supplies to clean up after their pets and giveaways from KONG® while supplies last. The event will adhere to social distancing guidelines and masks will be required. Take Metrorail to the Brickell Metrorail station, exit north and walk to the Sound Stage. Walk or bike (bike racks on The Underline at SW 1st Avenue and SW 9th Street) to the Sound Stage. If you drive, please use nearby public parking lots.
