Forest Nature Walk at Palmer Park Did you know Palmer Park contains a remnant forest? That means it contains native flora and fauna and it hasn't been significantly disturbed by ecologically-disruptive activities such as development, logging, or agriculture. Join us on a hike as we explore the trails, look for signs of spring and share our favorite observations of the forest together. This will be a distanced-outdoors event with limited capacity, so pre-registration is required. Please wear a mask and stay home if you are displaying any COVID symptoms or have had exposure in the past two weeks. The Detroit Nature and Exploration Center is located at the NE corner of Palmer Park at the intersection of W 7 mile and Woodward. The parking lot is located off W 7 mile, just west of Woodward. Look for a green building.
