Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 03/25/2021 210841342 Preliminary information: On March 25, 2021 at around 3:56 PM, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr Dr SW and Fairburn Rd NW in reference to a person shot call.  Upon arrival, officers located a male alert, conscious and breathing with a gunshot wound.  He was transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.  There is no suspect information available at this time.  Investigators will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  The investigation continues.     Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
