Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 03/25/2021 210842058 Preliminary information:  On March 25, 2021 at around 9:24 PM, officers were dispatched to 490 Fairburn Rd SW in reference to a person shot call.  Upon arrival, officers located a male conscious and breathing with an apparent gunshot wound.  He was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.  Preliminary investigation indicates the shooting may have occurred at another location. Homicide Investigators were notified and will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  The investigation continues. Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
