Today is Friday 26th of March my name is Susan.I posted an ad under general by owner for sale.I received a text almost immediately saying they wanted to buy my item and they needed me to verify it was a genuine ad..this by them sending me a Google voice code and I was to send that code back to them.. something was off and said I never heard of this and I too wanted verify this method with CL..Although they were adamant it was a legit method I didn't let them and looked this up.ABC 11 news had a news cast that explains it's a scam and by the person who posted sends that code back they give the receiver the ability to use your info to make a Google voice number in your name and do scams..illegal activity in your name all the while you have no idea that this is going on.
