We are an emergency care provider OFFERING KINDERGARTEN care this year as well as PRESCHOOL. We are currently running a VERY different program due to the Covid outbreak. We have a lot fewer items and are working diligently to make sure we keep the environment extremely clean, as well as, implementing new routines and limiting personal contact opportunities. We will not have any initiation fees, the last month will not be due upfront and no additional fees will be due at this time. Just pay ahead for your schedule. Please see our Yelp or Website for more photos of what it usually looks like. * The teachers at Crocodile Kids Preschool and Childcare are dedicated to nurturing children as they learn and grow. We integrate the warmth of a loving, interesting environment with academic readiness. Children love to learn and are naturally alive with curiosity. We seek to encourage this natural love of learning through our environment and teacher and child-directed curriculum. We love to teach in a fun and dynamic way. singing, dancing, funny voices, active movement times, and lots of encouragement to work hard and do their best. Treasure chest weekly to encourage their love of achieving big things. We blend preschool and child-directed learning into one dynamic experience. We do this so that our program is tailored to each child, their learning style, and their individual needs. Each child will often meet or exceed learning benchmarks. Often being able to leave with many skills that exceed a preschool level. We are located near 170th and Farmington. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: * We are located near 170th and Farmington. * Open Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 6:30 PM * Snacks Provided * Educated Teachers * CPR and First Aid Certified, All individuals on-site are FBI fingerprinted and background checked. * Love and Logic Method of Behavioral Guidance * Geared towards children 3 to 7-years-olds who are no longer putting things in their mouths. We have felt food, small parts, and smaller rocks in the yard and sandbox. * No need to be fully potty trained but we will require that you work with us to get them trained as soon as possible. *We are a Green Home so we ask that you provide reusable options in all you do. No one-use plastics here. We feel that children need time to do things on their own and explore their environment. We offer a ton of child-directed and adult-directed learning opportunities. We are in the belief that a fun learning environment promotes personal growth, character and allows each child to learn about themselves and what it is they enjoy doing. Our teachers use this natural curiosity to teach necessary life skills and learning benchmarks in a present, tangible "in the moment" way. Our learning environment promotes exploration, discovery, and helps guide them through the process of understanding. Some of the things our environment has to offer include: * Me Bags Time- Curriculum additives that give children specific learning objectives that correlate to the topics we are learning about. * Learning about "Big Business" we feature a Farmers Market and Deli, Bakery, Donut Shop, Ice Cream Shop, and Beauty Shop. * Hospital/ Veterinarian station soon to be expanding. We have tons of dolls of all ethnicities, animals and tons of doll accessories, First-Aid items, and baby daycare items. * Trains, Dinosaur, Littlest Petshop, and Legos creation stations. * Dramatic play learning environments featuring a new monthly theme, it's educational and hands-on. * Science discovery, math, and literacy are infused into our dramatic play environments for added learning opportunities. * So many games to choose from they'll be in awe. Some games are teacher-directed some aren't. * Literacy/writing/ pre-writing in tons of creative, fun ways that keep them interested. * Music time with fun child-sized instruments. * Playdough, Slime, Ooz, Kenetic Flour, Kinetic Sand, and tons of fun things to make them all more engaging and educational. * Extensive library with puppet time reading. We use fun voices, ask lots of questions and emulate expressions of wonder, emotion, and keep them fascinated to help steer them towards being a lifetime reader.
