Position Summary: Full Time with benefits Job Requirements: Flexible schedule to be able to attend to Maintenance issues Will be required at times to work additional hrs, including weekends and some holidays Have some knowledge of building maintenance and willing to learn Knowledge of the use of hand tools, power tools and small machinery Carry out duties assigned by the Facilities Supervisor, including working with other departments. Maintain the interior and exterior of all off Campus and Campus Buildings as needed Maintain a safe and secure campus Assist in snow and ice removal as needed Assist as needed on grounds or within the janitorial departments Assist in other duties as directed by the Facilities Director/Supervisor Required to be On Call, determined by the Facilities Director (Full time only) Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long period of times Must be able to lift 75 lbs. or greater Must be able to work on ladders and in areas elevated from the ground Ability to receive and follow general instructions Capable to work under pressure Capable of working alone and with others Strong communication skills with the supervisor to diagnose problems and generate solutions Must be able to solve problems as needed Must be able to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
