Qualifications:
The General Carpenter should have a high school diploma or equivalent. At least three years of experience in a combination of general construction, residential or commercial construction with emphasis on residential work is preferred. Basic math skills along with good interpersonal skills are required. The ability to work with minimal direction, be a self-starter and work at a fast pace are important for this position. The ability and willingness to become DOT certified is required. This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to routinely lift up to 100 pounds, stand, walk, climb and bend on an ongoing basis throughout the work day. The demonstrated ability to work from heights is also required.
