Description
What biological factors are related to autism spectrum disorders?
Can we learn to make an accurate diagnosis before a child's first birthday?
How do children with autism process their world?
As a research unit of Boston Children's Hospital, we invite infants and children of all ages to help us answer questions of this nature through participation in our research studies. In gaining a better understanding of these processes, our goal is to create tools for earlier diagnosis, better treatment, and better outcomes for children and families affected by ASD.
To achieve these goals, we depend on area children and families who are willing to donate their time and energy to our research projects.
Some of our studies offer compensation, free child care for siblings, and a small gift for your child. Convenient, free parking is also available by our Longwood Medical Area location (MBTA Green Line "D").
Detailed information about our studies and our database can be found on our website. If you are interested in joining our database, please click here or give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
