Marine Evolutions has an immediate opening for a full-time shop assistant to help keep our busy shop flowing smoothly. Duties may include organizing tools/equipment, keeping the shop tidy, assisting with welding/building, washing/detailing boats, assisting mechanics with engine work, and assisting with some fiberglass repairs. Must be able to stand on your feet for long durations and lift up to 50 pounds. Some knowledge of boats would be nice, but not required. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Marine Evolutions is a full-service boat repair shop in Lorton, Virginia. We repair all makes and models of engines (inboard/outboard, gasoline/diesel, all brands) and boats/trailers (fiberglass repair, electronics, fabrication, etc.). We are willing to train you to work toward becoming a boat mechanic if you are interested; there are plenty of opportunities for advancement here! We are a close-knit business with a family-like atmosphere. We work very hard, but we know how to have plenty of fun, too!
