Missoula Landscape Maintenance/Construction Company looking for a full time Applicator. Our company specializes in soil health through Biological Remediation and Mineral Balancing with the goal to manage properties and projects without the use of toxic chemicals that are unsafe for the environment and the plants and animals that live in them We are looking for the right person that has a great work ethic and positive attitude, problem solving skills, skilled in customer relations and has a desire and willingness learn our processes. As our company continues to grow this person will have the opportunity to take on larger accountabilities. We are the leaders in Montana for nontoxic soil and plant health consulting. Based in Ego-Ag practices, we specialize in implementing these practices in all of our sustainable landscape services and projects. Qualifications: • Must have or obtain a Montana Department of Agriculture Applicator License • 3 years of experience in residential application a plus. • Montana Driver’s License, with clean driving record. • Pass Background check as required by City of Missoula • Clear communication skills, with the ability to take direction, and produce results • Dependable team player that can be accountable for their actions. • Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs. • Basic math skills to mix biological and mineral products to recommended rates, square footage calculations, read elevations and compute right angles. • Basic Horticulture and knowing proper methods of pruning plant species. • Basic administrations skills to track job hours and products used. • Experience in operating: o Operate standard transmission truck. o Truck and trailer combination up to 16’ trailer. o Fertilizer/Compost Spreader. o Liquid Spay rig, with up to 300’ of 3/8” hose. o Commercial zero turn mowers - ride on and walk behind. o Hand held equipment - weed whip, back pack blower, chain saw etc. o Skid steer- loader and soil prep attachments. o Mini excavator. Entry rate of pay $15.00-$18.00 per hour dependent on verified experience. Willing to train the right candidate.
