Description

The City will hire a Water Operator I or II depending on experience and qualifications. Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the City's water treatment facilities, and water supply/distribution system, and associated facilities. Possession of a valid California Water Treatment Operator Grade I Certificate within one year of employment with the City; Possession of an California Grade I Distribution System Certification within one year of employment with the City; Possession of a valid California driver's license. The identified classification is union represented and after completion of their probationary period employees have the opportunity to join the union.
