Journeyman ElectricianLocation: Brea, CaliforniaJob Type: CommercialPay Rate: $32 per hourBrea needed ASAP.2-3 week job Journeyman : must have 5 years electrical experience and a minimum of 1 year as a journeyman. Driver's License (Required)Electrical License or electrical trainee card (Required)High school or equivalent (Preferred)Mechanical Knowledge: residential and or/commercial building and service: 1 year (Preferred)Troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)Qualifications and Requirements: State-Certified General Journeyman Electrician (Required)Excellent customer relation skillsStrong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitudeDetail oriented, results driven individualSkills and Abilities: Candidates should meet or surpass the following requirements: Execute installation of conduit, electrical wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures according to job specifications and local codes.Measure, cuts, bends, threads, assemble, and install electrical conduit.Installation disconnects, metering equipment, inverters, gutter, and conduit.Running/pulling wire and terminating in boxes using a variety of methodsDiagnose and fix malfunctioning electrical systems, apparatus, and components.Hold a current State of California Journeyman Electricians card or trainee cardMinimum 1 year experience in the Commercial/industrial electrical trade.Working knowledge of electrical principles, codes and commercial construction.Ability to read and interpret blueprints,schematics, specifications, and other materials to determine job requirementsMust have good communication and interaction skills with the ability to work as a teamAll candidates must be in good physical shape and be able to lift up to 50lbs to perform the duties of this positionOSHA and NECcertification a plusPLC experienceMust have good oral and written English skills, Bilingual a plus Dependability: Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations. Positive Attitude: Has a good-natured attitude even in the face of stressful job demands and difficult operational or interpersonal issues.
