Assistant ElectricianLocation: Burbank, CA Job Type: CommercialPay Rate: $18 per hour will start this month.4-6 week job Job Duties and Responsibilities: install conduit, wire, and lights.Assists Electricians with the installations, maintenance and repairs of electrical equipment inspecting electrical systems, repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and fixtures, performing preventative maintenance services on circuits, transformers, and lighting, identifying and correcting defective or damaged electrical systemsplanning and installing wiring, conduit and electrical apparatus in the buildings as needed. Skills and Knowledge: Working knowledge of electrical building code requirementsWorking knowledge of Local, State and Federal guidelines as related to positionAbility to perform electrical installations, maintenance and repairs (single and 3 phase, high and low circuits, and devices)Ability to perform simple mathematical calculationsMust have the physical capabilities to perform essential job duties such as the ability to walk, stand, stoop, crawl, kneel and reach as well as lift up to 50lbs.Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds and liftsAbility to interact effectively with team members and guestsAbility to maintain professionalism and composureAbility to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions Education and Experience: MC cable commercial experienceHigh School Diploma, High School Certificate of Completion, or G.E.DElectrical Trainee (ET) CardApprenticeship from an accredited school Additional: Ability to communicate effectively in the English language About Alicante Workforce Solutions:With a unique and diverse background, Alicante Workforce Solutions brings dependency and a personal experience to the Staffing Industry.
