Maintenance Position - We are looking for a responsible and self motivated person to handle general maintenance schedule and calls for our small, family owned rental properties. This position is approximately 20 hours per week and pays $30/hour. Hours can be flexible based on what is needed or your schedule.
General description - Foundry Apartments owns and manages 6 small buildings with a total of 50 apartments and 2 small commercial spaces in the central Madison area. We have a good reputation in the community for being personal and responsive, and this results in a high number of long term tenants and referrals from past residents.
Duties: manage general apartment maintenance, appearance, and service calls to keep properties in good condition. Good communication skills are a must. Duties to include: Schedule and complete regular building and grounds maintenance. Respond promptly to service requests, determine if you can repair or need to schedule contractor. Keep tenants informed and give proper notice for entry. Inspect buildings weekly for needed work and safety items.
