Alpha Turf NW is looking for a qualified and driven employee to join their team for the 2021 season. We provide and install artificial turf installations for both residential and commercial applications. We are a growing business with 2 offices locations in Eugene and Tualatin. We are looking for long term employees who are willing to learn, coachable, work good in team settings, critical thinker, problem solving skills, takes direction well and has the ability to be a self-starter. Wages average $15-$25+ DOE with room for growth. Required: *2 years of landscape construction or construction background (not maintenance) • Read a tape measure, use power tools (skill saw, etc with confidence) • Read a drawing/CAD detail and implement on the ground • Be able to grade rock and use a plate compactor *Artificial Turf experience is a plus but not required *Valid Driver’s License/Reliable transportation *Ability to pass a background check *Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (We follow Oregon Guidelines) *Ability to Drive Truck and Trailer • Drive truck and trailer in city streets • Back up and park *Tractor experience • Be able to operate a stand on or walk behind skid steer *Ability to lift 100 pounds Benefits: • Competitive Pay with opportunities for growth • Health/Vision Insurance (50% paid by employer) • PTO/Sick time after 90 days • Opportunities for weekly bonuses based on performance Job Duties: • Removal and disposal of current lawn (sod, bark, etc) • Rock base infill • Installation of Artificial turf and putting greens • Occasional paver work
