SECURITY SURVEILLANCE OFFICER Seeking professional, customer service driven individuals! Securitas Security is on the search for friendly and courteous individuals with a strong customer service background and a passion to help others. New positions available at a local 6-story community facility. The primary role of these officers will be to monitor the building via a 100 camera CCTV monitoring system, conduct walking building patrols, and respond to emergencies within the facility. These officers also assist in deterring the homeless from entering the building and/or loitering outside. Pay: $17/hr Schedule: Sat & Sun 7:00am-7:00pm, Mon & Fri 7:30am-5:30pm Location: Downtown Portland, OR Key Officer Qualities: Impeccable customer service background and communication skills. DAILY JOB FUNCTIONS: • Access control-monitor 100 camera CCTV system • Patrols premises- extensive amounts of walking, climbing stairs etc (6-story building) • Reports suspicious activity • Responds in emergency situations • Preserve order- provide a safe and secure environment for all visitors and employees MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS: • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone). • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private). • Must have the legal right to work in the United States. • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. • Must have a High School Diploma or GED. If not, must be willing to complete the GED program within six months. • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
