WVRC is a commercial janitorial company, and we are looking for dependable people with documented disabilities who want to work. We have a full-time evening custodial position open in Albany and we offer competitive wages and paid sick leave, along with medical/dental/vision insurance and paid holidays after 90 days employment. Vacation is also available. We offer reasonable accommodations for disabilities to promote greater chances of success, and on-the-job training. Hours are generally from 6:00 pm to 1:15 am Monday through Friday. Previous janitorial/custodial experience preferred, but not essential. A general overview of job duties would include but not be limited to cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping tables, counters and chairs. Applicants must be able to pass criminal background checks, a pre-employment drug screen and physical. Reliable transportation is a must; a valid driver's license and vehicle is preferred, but as long as you can get to and from work, a state or government-issued ID is OK.
