PW Feenstra Construction is looking for someone who is competent in problem solving skills and communication. Any construction or concrete experience is preferred, but is not necessarily required. We set up and operate portable concrete plants on Dairies and Hog farms. The responsibilities of operating a loader consist of keeping the plant full of material, assisting the batch operator, basic maintenance, and learning how to run the batch plant. The responsibilities of running an on-site batch plant consist of scheduling materials (rock, sand, cement, admixture) on time and in the correct amounts based on pour schedules, managing material inventory, communicating with the contractors on site so we can service their concrete needs, and basic problem solving/troubleshooting skills. We are a growing, progressive company looking how to improve everyday, and would appreciate someone who wants to help with our goals in expanding the company. PW Feenstra is a smaller, old school company who values their employees and strives for quality service. Depending on where the jobs are at, it can cause us to travel a decent amount sometimes.
