Description
Learn how to improvise over the complex chord and key changes that are utilized in
all styles of Jazz music. (i.e., Standards, Be-Bop, Fusion, etc...)
I can and will teach you the fundamental knowledge required both mentally and
physically in order to identify the appropriate scales/modes to play and how to
execute them anywhere within the range of your instrument.
We will move at your own pace while instilling confidence in your individual abilities
with patience and a few constructive pushes here and there.

2) Scales and Modes (Major, Melodic Minor, Harmonic Minor, etc...)
3) Scale and Interval Patterns
4) Super Imposition with Arpeggios
5) Motif Development and Elaboration
6) Rhythmic and Phrasing Development
7) Instrument Set-up and Tone Quality

Rates: All lessons are being offered in one-hour increments and can be booked remotely on Zoom or at my home in the Woodland Hills area for the rate of $40 for one hour or $60 for a two hour session.

I have received my B.M. Degree in Jazz Composition & Arranging from the Berklee College of Music in Boston and a M.M. Degree in Classical Composition and Conducting from the New England Conservatory of Music also in Boston as well as numerous Private studies and Seminars with many Noted Classical, Film Score, and Jazz Composers. In addition, I have worked on numerous Feature Films and with Touring Shows such as Cirque Du Soleil, River-Dance, etc... as a Composer/Conductor/Orchestrator/Copyist & Performing Musician.
