LightWave Solar is looking to hire eager individuals who want to become a part of the Solar Industry. No knowledge of solar? No worries, we’re willing to train the right candidate! We are looking for someone to join our LightWave family, as this is a LONG-TERM position with room to grow. Diploma or equivalent - Minimum electrical experience of 5+ years - Availability for overnight travel - Thorough knowledge of the NEC - Trouble shooting aptitude - Working with 480 v, 3 phase - DC circuits up to 1500v - CAT 5 and communication experience - Transformer experience - Ability to work on roofs and at heights - Ground work experience - Variable speed motor drives - Through knowledge of reading and applying blueprints and specifications - Measuring, drilling, cutting and fabricating assemblies with aluminum, steel, wood, copper, etc. - Experience with 4,160 up to 24kv (preferred but not needed) - EV charger installation (preferred but not needed) - Experience with hand-held and power tools - Team player who listens, learns, and actively communicates - Visual thinker good at problem solving and implementing ideas - Non-solar inverter experience IE: large emergency lighting inverter battery banks or large UPS systems. - PLC or similar programming. What we are looking for here is the ability to deal with monitoring and inverter screens and menus. Setting and checking software parameters.
