!BODY SHOP DETAILER NEEDED! We are looking for a good and fast DETAILER to join our team. Auto Detailer's Essential Functions: • Drive vehicle in and out of the bay for detailing • DENIB painted areas, BUFF and POLISH (WET SAND AND BUFF) This one is a MUST! • Do any requested touch-up painting requested by management • Vacuum rugs, seats, trunk or rear of vehicle • Wipe down interior seats, dash and door panels • Make sure all old parts are removed from vehicle (check with Shop Manager too see if any parts need to be kept for Insurance claim) • Clean jambs for dust, dirt or compound • Clean windows (inside & outside), steel wool for window over-spray when needed • Wash exterior of vehicle and dry • Wash and shine wheel; dress tires • Help keep whole shop clean • Keep completed (detailed and check-listed) vehicles in line for delivery • In between detail of jobs empty other trash barrels within the shop and sweep bays • Maintain shop quality standards (pre-accident or better) Skills/Requirements • Typically has a minimum of 2-3 years of detailing experience (preferably body shop detailing) • Must be at least 18 years of age • Must have a valid driver’s license • Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check • Comply with all safety requirements, respirator safety, and fitment/usage. Maintain compliance to pass required safety mask fit test • Ability to effectively communicate with others • Advanced communication to mentor/coach/trainer as required • Ability to read and understand basic instructions or work orders • Multi-taking; adapts easily to fast-paced environment • Maintain a well-groomed appearance About Auto Collision Collision & Glass/ Precise Collision & Glass: A reliable vehicle is essential to an optimal lifestyle and overall personal success.
