Entry-Level Shop Cleaner If you have basic mechanical skills with the desire to excel in a specialized field, we want to talk to you. This position starts as an entry-level position in a local gear shop (5- ton and over). Beginning duties include, but not limited to: wash parts, dry parts, inspect parts, sorting parts; organize shop floor; sweeping/mopping floors and sinks, cleaning work areas; sandblasting; helping assist mechanics with tear down and rebuilding units as well as some outside groundskeeping. Prefer applicant have experience in use of power tools, air tools, hoists and general shop equipment. Must be able to lift, bend, carry heavy loads and stay on feet most of the day. Must have reliable transportation and come to work in clean clothes. Full-time. $17/hour to start for this entry-level position. Lots of opportunity to eventually learn an excellent trade in gear work, machining and welding to the right employee. This is a very busy shop and drug-free.
