Scammer asks for your phone number to contact you about cats adoption.Then they sends you a 6 digit code to verify you're a real person. DO NOT GIVE THEM THE 6 DIGIT VERIFICATION CODE. They use your number to sign up for Google voice to use for illegal activity and may steal other info the longer they have it. To finish registration, the code is sent to your number for completion. Do not give them this code. I only fell for it because the number looked too similar from a previous number I was already texting that was a real person. You've been informed.
