FULL TIME FORKLIFT OPERATOR POSITIONS are available in Skokie, IL in Tenneco-DRiV (formerly Federal-Mogul). CV-19 Worker Safety measures include: - Daily Health Screenings & Temperature Checks - Specialized PPE provided (e.g. masks, shields, gloves, etc) - Social Distancing & Daily Safety Updates Job Responsibilities Forklift operator positions require members to: - Work as a cross-functional team in the movement of products within a warehouse environment. - Perform safety checklist prior to forklift equipment operation. - Handle and move materials and product by using Pallet Mover, High Rise Lift Truck and Stand Up/ Sit Down Forklift. - Read and interface with tools and forklift mechanical equipment. - Complete forklift paperwork specific to work area. - Follow Quality Management System requirements as outlined in work instructions; suggest ways for continual improvement. - Maintain clean and orderly work area. - Report forklift equipment malfunctions, personal injuries and unsafe conditions. All forklift positions require ability to lift 30-50 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, move about, and climb (ascend & descend) ladders for shift duration (8-10 hours). Manual dexterity. Normal or corrected vision to read forklift directions and visually inspect parts; and to distinguish colors. Normal or corrected hearing in order to detect forklift equipment and/or motor malfunctions. Regularly required to reach, bend and stoop for objects.
