Largo Cemetery looking for part time ground maintenance staff The position includes a variety of tasks from watering the lawn and landscaping, to helping with burial setup and cleanup. We expect all of our staff to help out where they can with whatever is needed. Any prior job experiences in Lawn Maintenance, Backhoe Operator, Irrigation, Mechanical work is a plus. Must be able to work well with others and present yourself in a professional manor as there are times you will be assisting with burials and working in front of the families. Variety is a key element of this position. Some days you will be turning on sprinklers and taking trash to the dumpster, other days you will be assisting with the set up for a graveside service. Some days you will assist the office staff with marking and locating graves others you will install memorial markers. Versatility and willingness to pivot in a pinch are key to working with us. Valid Florida Driver’s License required. Background and drug test required. 30 hours a week, some weekends required. Please Include a short statement about why you would be a good fit for our company.
