Join our growing company and represent an amazing, delicious local & Organic Kombucha at Portland Area Farmer's Markets! 4Hearts Kombucha is looking for outgoing and energetic folks to represent our brand. About Us: 4Hearts Kombucha is a quickly-growing local kombucha brand based in Portland, Oregon. We are a small, queer and woman owned business focused on producing delicious, healthy craft kombucha. We are certified Organic, Raw, and source ingredients locally whenever possible. We value diverse perspectives in our team members and strive to create a welcoming environment for all. What you will do: -Engage with and educate our customers about our products at local markets -Build and develop relationships with customers -Transport all required gear, supplies and product safely in your own vehicle -Tow a small, 4’x6’ trailer with your own vehicle (if applicable) -Safely setup and teardown booths and other event materials with a focus on attractive presentation -Maintain an accurate till for cash transactions, and process credit card transactions via Square -Track sales and product counts over the course of a market or event -Attend scheduled staff meetings to maintain product knowledge, best practices and procedures -Report to the Sales Manager to solve problems and improve service -This active position requires standing and/or walking for up to 6 hours -This active position requires lifting 50+ lbs Requirements: -Experience in customer service and a passion for making connections within the community -Clean driving record and your own vehicle with the ability to tow a small trailer (towing capability preferred, but not required) to transport set-up materials (Current valid driver’s license, proof of insurance required) -Live by our core values: ambitious, adventurous, creative, healthy, and passionate about connection with local -community -Reliability: must show up on-time and ready to work every day -Uphold the highest of quality standards -Strong organizational and time management skills -Able to work well independently with minimal oversight -Excellent communication and a positive attitude -Passion for health, kombucha, fermented products or the beverage industry -Able to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds -Knowledge of kombucha and the 4Hearts Kombucha brand strongly preferred Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, & Weekends (6:30-3:30) We have both part and full time seasonal positions available that could develop into a longer term part- or full-time position(s) for the right employee(s). When Farmers Markets are over (September/October 2021), this position could move into sales, marketing, events and deliveries. Compensation: $13-$15 per hour DOE + tips + commissions + free booch/booch for bartering. For the right long term employee, future vesting in the company is available.
