This is a full time / year-round position, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Thursday - Monday. Please reply with a resume and tell us about your work experience. Attend to the cleaning of indoor common areas, lobbies, restrooms, and all hallways and floors. Alert maintenance when repairs or problems require attention. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB 1. Sweep and clean/mop walkways, breezeways, and stairwells including the building front entrance, emergency stairwells, and stairway railings. 2. Clean main lobby and all floor lobby areas including dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming, mopping/steaming. Vacuum all hallways throughout the building using upright and backpack vacuums. Mop large areas using commercial floor and tile scrubber. 3. Polish all windows and glass doors in the main lobby and all floor lobbies. Wipe down solid doors in each hallway. 4. Polish elevator doors and walls. Maintain clean, dry floors inside the elevator and elevator platforms. 5. Clean lobby and poolside restrooms. 6. Clean and polish trash and linen chute doors on each floor. 7. Clean outside grills and grill patio areas. 8. Keep up with inventory needs and notify supervisor when supplies are low. 9. Monitor the washing machine and dryer when in use. Keep laundered cleaning rags in stock each day. 10. Notify supervisor of deficiencies that require repair, paint, lighting, full trash cans, water leaks, and other maintenance matters. 11. Round up luggage carts at ground level. 12. Assist guests with questions or concerns. 13. Assist emergency vehicles that arrive on property. 14. Positive, helpful, friendly attitude required. Team work and respect amongst all association staff is required. Attendance as scheduled is required. Clean uniforms must be worn. 15. Practice and promote safety at all times, reporting potential safety issues or injuries immediately. 16. Perform other duties as assigned from time to time. Skills and Requirements Excellent interpersonal interaction skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Well organized and able to effectively prioritize duties. Ability to work independently. Ability to effectively interact with a variety of individuals. Ability to perform the physical requirements and maintain stamina to walk, bend and stand for long periods of time. Ability to work with cleaning chemicals. Pre-employment and random drug screening and background investigation required.
