A lot of scam is going around Maine Coon Cats these days. PLEASE, PLEASE READ. If they ask you for a deposit so they hold a cat/kitten for you; it is a scam. These people are mostly out of U.S.A., they get your mobile number and will scam you sending them around $200 or $400 then they will promise you either they will fly the cat to an airport near you or deliver it by driving to you. All is a big SCAM. They have flooded Craigslist with this kind of posting all over for all cities in all states.
To avoid SCAM, offer to pick up the kitten instead of delivery and offer to pay plus the price upon receiving the kitten instead of putting a deposit.
They use US mobile numbers, I suspect they have accomplices in US they are all from Eastern European countries. They always use the same pictures, or pictures on the web, they might have a nice website too; often/always their kittens are around 11 weeks old. They want you to use Credit Union to send money.
Offer to send money with your credit card via Pay pay, offer to pay the % fee charged by PayPal. This is how you will spot the scammer.
