If eligible, you may be selected to participate in an online interview. The purpose of this study is to learn how LGBTQ individuals think about politics, their influence in politics, and decide to participate in politics. Interviews will consist of ended questions and will take about an hour and a half. You will be compensated $50 for your time. The interview questions will include questions like: • “People can mean many different things when they say ‘politics’. When you think or talk about ‘politics’, what comes to mind?” • What does it mean to you for a person or group to be politically powerful? • Do you think that protests and Pride have been successful for improving the lives of LGBTQ people?
